Do you know what your WHY is?

Why are you working on your resume instead of bingeing on a new Netflix series?

Why are you networking and sending out cold emails to strangers on LinkedIn instead of texting funny memes to your friends?

Why are you doing mock interviews that make you feel silly and uncomfortable instead of relaxing with friends?

If you don’t know your why, then you’ll never make the tough (daily) decisions that make your job search successful.

Job searching is hard. It’s a lot of work. It’s boring. It’s tedious. It’s emotional. It’s exhausting.

When you’re not properly motivated, someone else will be. They’ll write a better resume. They’ll prepare more for the interview. They’ll spend more time effectively networking and genuinely building relationships. They’ll go after the job and guess what? They’ll get it.

If you’re truly motivated and you want to take the next step in your career transformation, I’m happy to be your guide. I was (and still am) in your shoes right now. I know how hard and emotional the job searching roller coaster is. You don’t have to do this alone.

Coach Caroleen text message - Got the Interview

When your “why” comes into focus, good things happen FAST

Does this sound familiar?

My client hadn’t really found her why. She got the 3 Day Resume course. So she started the first day’s video but then stopped.

Then just last week, she happened to run across a posting for her dream job. It was a role that aligned her work experience as a developer with her passion for sports. She networked through LinkedIn and learned the posting was closing soon. She had to act fast.

All of a sudden, her why came into focus. She started prioritizing her job search and taking action.

She cleared her calendar. She re-started the 3 Day Resume course and finished it. She completely re-wrote her resume. Then, we had an intense resume review coaching session. After a lot of very hard work, she applied for the job with her shiny new resume.

… and this happened!

Takeaway:

When you know your WHY, you’ll be motivated to take the right action quickly. Put in the time and effort to get the results you want.

New year, new you, right? There’s been so much positive job activity with my clients. The time is now to crank up your job search.
